Currently, Marquardt's coaches and trainers Greg Jackson and Amal Easton (MMA), Loren Landow (Strength and Comditioning), Jake Ramos (Boxing), Leister Bowling (Freestyle Wrestling), Phil Nurse (Muay Thai and Kickboxing), and Firas Zahabi (MMA and Muay Thai). Marquardt also runs an academy, High Altitude Martial Arts (Easton BJJ) located in Aurora, CO. Nate's career is managed by Alchemist Management.
Nate first won the Pancrase Middleweight title in 2000. At the time, he was the youngest fighter to ever own the title "King of Pancrase." Marquardt fought in Pancrase until 2005 and won 7 title fights in the process. Nate left Pancrase as the champion to pursue his dream of fighting the best fighters in the world. Nate has aquired wins in the UFC over top fighters such as Wilson Gouveia, Demian Maia, Jeremy Horn, Dean Lister, Martin Kampman, Joe Doerkson, Ivan Salaverry, Rousimar Palhares and Dan Miller. Nate's next fight is not set yet but the site will be updated as soon as possible when the news comes in!
